The LCU Library Mission
The library's primary concern is to provide materials (books, journals, databases, etc.) to support the curriculum. The acquisitions program of Lubbock Christian University Library is expected to faithfully reflect the education objectives and support the approved programs of the University.

Distant Student Services
Distance students are provided with the same services as the local students:
- borrowing privileges
- research and reference assistance by email and phone and via the faculty
- library instruction via webpages: subject specific research guides, tutorials, Student Library Guide in Moodle
- interlibrary loan mediation (sending books or articles as requested)
At least 80% of the library’s collection is available online in ebooks, ejournals and full text databases.
