University of North Texas Library & Information Science held an information session Feb. 19^th promoting the Lubbock Institute in June.
Pepperdine School of Public Policy Dean visited with potential students March 30^th.
April’s National Poetry month featured a book display with poems chosen by the English and library faculty as takeaways.
Who’s Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges reception April 9, 2015.
Texas Library Snapshot Day Oct. 30^th with open house treats/giveaways, faculty and student surveys and RefWorks citation trial with survey.
University Writing Center consultants shared their favorite books in a display “Books That Made an Impact: Our Current Top 10” during October, 2014.
At finals, free massages were offered for relaxation.
Library Facebook page had 486 people engaged and a weekly total reach of 1,367 (12/10/14).
Library Twitter page has tweeted 320 times with 46 followers. Tweet outreach was 9,300.

Distance students are provided with the same services as the local students:

borrowing privileges
research and reference assistance by email and phone and via the faculty
library instruction via webpages: subject specific research guides, tutorials, Student Library Guide in Moodle
interlibrary loan mediation (sending books or articles as requested)

At least 80% of the library’s collection is available online in ebooks, ejournals and full text databases.
